Product sizing suggestions are based on a smaller Toy Aussie, with an adult weight around 6 to 10 lbs.

Gear

Collar:
For puppies: XXS/6-8 inches in 3/8” width. This can be hard to find - try Petco, or a cat collar if you can’t find a small enough dog collar.
For adults: XS/8-12 inches in 3/8” width (switch up to this size around 8 months old). Available at most pet retailers such as Petsmart.

Harness:
For puppies: H-shaped nylon cat harness with two clips (6-10in neck). Fits small puppies and so easy to put on!
For adults: Ruffwear Front Range Harness in XXS (13-17in girth, fits a 6-lb Aussie on the smallest setting). Great outdoor harness particularly for hiking and rainy climates.
Everyday harness: Nylon back-clip harness in Small/12-20 inches.
*step-in style harness are not recommended as active Aussies find ways to step out!

Rain and Snow Coats:
Hurtta brand in size 10 inches, the Monsoon coat or Summit parka (we recommend ordering the smaller size if between sizes)

Crate:
Metal Dog Crate with divider, in 22 or 24 inches long.

Playpen:
Foldable Metal Playpen 24 inches tall.

Treats

Training Treats:
Freeze-Dry chicken or beef liver, such as Crumps Mini Trainers or Life Essentials Chicken Littles. These are so easy to keep in your pocket!
Blue Buffalo Bits - Crumble up and hide them in a blanket inside the dog’s crate.

Fun:
Three Dog Bakery: doggy birthday cakes, holiday themed treats, and baked biscuits. Find a location or order on Amazon.

Chews:
Natural jerky or dental sticks, such as Nature Gnaws and Teenie Greenies. Give one to your dog while you eat dinner so they have something tasty instead of begging you for your food.

Longer Lasting Chews:

Homemade:
Ice cubes (plain water with an added splash of chicken broth, shredded carrots, mashed yam, or blueberry)
